NFH Iron and Prenatal Supplements Recalled
On March 27, 2025, NFH Iron SAP, NFH Heme Iron SAP, and NFH Prenatal SAP dietary supplements were recalled because the packaging is not child-resistant and may pose a risk of poisoning for young children.

Because the dietary supplements contain iron, it is required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA) to be in child-resistant packaging.
Be aware that, as discussed in ConsumerLab’s Iron Supplements Review, iron supplements are a leading cause of poisoning in children younger than age 6, and just an adult tablet can cause serious poisoning.
Recalled NFH Iron SAP, NFH Heme Iron SAP and NFH Prenatal SAP dietary supplements were sold online at WholescriptsInc.com, Fullscript.com, naturopathic/ homeopathic clinics nationwide, and A Woman's Time and Doctor Supplement stores from March 2022 through December 2024. The white bottles have the brand name “NFH” and the NFH logo of a leaf in blue. The date code can be found on the bottom of the bottle. The recalled supplements can further be identified by the following:
