NuGo Nutrition Bar Recall Expanded
On January 10, 2025, Lifestyle Evolution Inc. expanded its recall of NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip nutrition bars to include NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel nutrition bars and nutrition bar multipacks, due to an undeclared milk allergen. Testing confirmed that the recalled bars contain milk which is not declared on the packaging.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should not consume these products as they may cause potentially life-threatening allergic reactions.
ConsumerLab first reported the recall of NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip nutrition bars on December 2, 2024. The expanded recall now includes NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel nutrition bars.
Recalled NuGo nutrition bars are individually wrapped and packed in 12 or 18ct Multipack boxes (see product photos) and were distrusted by Amazon, Costco, Wegmans, and Giant Eagle. The products can be further identified by the following:
- Product: NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip
- Best By Dates: 12/21/2025, 12/22/2025, 12/23/2025
- Manufacturing Lot Codes: C24234B, C24235A, C24235B, C24236A
- Product: NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel With Sea Salt
- Best By Date: 12/14/2025
- Manufacturing Lot Code: B24227B
- Product: NuGo Dark Multipack (Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Pretzel With Sea Salt)
- Best By Dates: 12/22/2025, 12/23/2025
- Manufacturing Lot Codes: B24235A, B24235B, B24236B, C24236A
Consumers who have purchased recalled NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip Nutrition Bars, NuGoDark Chocolate Pretzel nutrition bars, or NuGo Dark Multipacks are advised to return them to the retail location where the purchase was made. For more information customers can contact NuGo Nutrition.
