On November 6, 2024, Armonia Natural Store LLC issued a recall of 64 bottles of OneMultivitaminic GAF-PLUS Advance 300 ml because they contain undeclared acetaminophen and dexamethasone phosphate (which are not permitted in dietary supplements) and the undeclared sweetener aspartame.

Acetaminophen is an over-the-counter (OTC) pain reliever that can cause a rare, but potentially fatal skin reaction, and, in large doses, liver damage. Dexamethasone is a prescription corticosteroid drug that has the potential to cause severe and serious adverse events including adrenal suppression, a disorder in which the adrenal glands do not produce enough hormones, and other adverse events, which can lead to death. Sudden discontinuation of dexamethasone case also causes potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms.

Aspartame should be avoided by people with a hereditary condition called phenylketonuria or PKU, which causes an individual to have a difficult time metabolizing a component of aspartame.

Recalled OneMultivitaminic GAF-PLUS Advance are packaged in plastic bottles and were distributed in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Nebraska, Illinois, California, and Wisconsin. They can be further identified by the following:

• Lot#: 000297-0060724
• Expiration Date: 07/2026
