Manischewitz Dark Chocolate Coins Recalled Due to Undeclared Milk
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should not consume these products as they may cause potentially life-threatening allergic reactions.
The recalled chocolate coins (see product photos) were distributed to stores nationwide, particularly in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, from September 26, 2023 to November 28, 2023. The company’s dairy milk chocolate coins are typically wrapped in gold foil with blue netting, and non-dairy dark chocolate coins are typically wrapped in silver foil with red netting. However, the recalled lot may have milk chocolate coins, wrapped in gold, in the “dark-chocolate tagged” bags. Affected products can be further identified by the following:

- Lot Code: 2283
Manischewitz has informed all retailers who purchased affected products of the recall and have instructed them to remove any recalled product from their shelves. Consumers who may have purchased this product are advised to inspect their product and discontinue use of recalled dark chocolate bags immediately.
