FDA Warns Aloe and Herbal Supplement Companies For Manufacturing Violations
AloeScience Labs, Inc. -- On November 14, 2012, the FDA issued a warning letter to AloeScience Labs, Inc., following a facility inspection which found the company's dietary supplements to be adulterated because they were were prepared, packed, or held under conditions that violate Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Life Cycle Herbal Products -- On December 14, 2012, the FDA issued a warning letter to Raca Enterprises, Inc. dba Life Cycle Herbal Products, following a facility inspection which found the company's dietary supplements to be adulterated because they were were prepared, packed, or held under conditions that violate Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Life Cycle Herbal Products sells a range of botanicals including aloe, green tea, milk thistle and a variety of Chinese herbal formulas.
