Answer:
Qualia Mind is marketed as a nootropic supplement to "enhance focus, memory, and mental clarity" and to "amplify drive and productivity." Qualia Mind is also marketed as having "clinically researched ingredients" — in fact, its label lists a whopping 28 ingredients. However, despite the fact that a company-funded study of Qualia Mind was completed over a year ago, there do not appear to be any published clinical results for Qualia Mind, so it is unknown if its combination of ingredients actually works and does any of the things it claims. An earlier company-funded study that allegedly showed cognitive benefit is no longer on the manufacturer's website.
Since we don't know if Qualia Mind's combination of ingredients works, we at ConsumerLab reviewed each ingredient in Qualia Mind, comparing the amounts to what has, or has not, been shown to work with regard to boosting memory and mental function.
Read on if you are a ConsumerLab member for our analysis and whether or not we think Qualia Mind’s formula is likely to work. We also discuss whether we think Qualia Mind is safe to use (it lists unusually large amounts of some ingredients that can potentially cause adverse effects) and worth its high price of $139 for a 22-day supply, or whether you can get many of the same ingredients for a lot less from other supplements. The reviewed ingredients are vitamins B-1, B-3, B-5, B-6, B-12, C and D, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), bacopa, Huperzia serrata leaf extract, Rhodiola rosea, alpha-GPC, citicoline, acetyl-L-carnitine, theobromine, coffee fruit extract, PQQ, ginkgo, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, DL-phenylalanine, L-theanine, phosphatidylserine, taurine, uridine, Coleus forskohlii, Celastrus paniculatus, artichoke leaf extract, and velvet bean seed extract.

November 24, 2024Thank you for posting this review. I have been using it for a month (tried both the old formula a few years ago and the new formula) and while it did seem to lower my stress a little and improve my focus a little, I did not experience improved memory or motivation to a significant degree. The benefits in focus and stress were mild. Furthermore, I have been concerned about the hefty dose of B12 and have actually experienced chest pain in the past when taking high B12 dosages, despite being fit at the time, could run a mile in 6 mins easily. I am going to start buying individual ingredients if they are backed by good evidence. Many of the ingredients in Qualia aren't.

January 26, 2022I took Qualia Mind for 2 months and am very impressed (and happy to for my new subscription) to see this evaluation as this is a new supplement to me and I didn't get around to comparing the amounts of the ingredients to the standard recommended dosages by most biohackers . I was impressed by the list of ingredients, and the doses at first looked good. But my research shows the same results. Even with 7 pills a day (I could only take 4-6 daily) I found the amounts to be below the hacking communities dosages. I did feel this was a quality product, but I could not justify the cost. Overall it did very little for me. I went through 3 bottles. I have gone back to buying singular ingredients at the dosages that I have found helpful and save a bunch of money. I love consumer lab as it then helps me find the better supplement companies.

February 22, 2025Hi there, I'm a Pharmacist researching what to give my mother-in-law for dementia. Since it's been 3 years, I'm wondering what you've found to be helpful.

October 27, 2021People want to find something the help with cognitive impairment that comes with aging. They are easy targets for tonics and potions. Funding research for Alzheimers disease and keeping our fingers crossed seems about the best we can do. But there is always hope. Thanks for the insight.

October 17, 2021So many ingredients in one pill and so many pills per day sounds crazy. It would upset my stomach for sure, and my wallet.
