Advertising
General Advertising:
ConsumerLab.com (CL) accepts certain advertising on its Web site which it considers useful to viewers. Ads are shown as separate from ConsumerLab.com's independent content. CL does not accept advertisements for vitamins, supplements, or nutrition products that have failed or not undergone testing by CL.
Product Advertising: Manufacturers of products that have passed CL's testing may provide more information about such products through a paid advertising page. This page allows manufacturers to provide distinguishing features of the product, where or how the product may be purchased, general information about the manufacturer, and links to other sites including online retailers. CL reviews these advertisements for accuracy. The page links to the name of the product where it is listed in CL's Product Reviews.
Advertising of Retailers on the Where to Buy Products page:
Many visitors to our website are looking for retailers from which they can purchase quality products. Retailers found to be reputable by CL that sell products that have passed CL testing may advertise on the CL website through one or both of the programs described below. Not all products sold by these vendors have necessarily passed CL testing. We receive no revenue from purchases.
Where to Buy Products page:
Where to Buy Products page provides information about vendors and one or more links to each vendor's website.
Program:
If a retailer sells an item that has passed CL testing, it may link from that product's listing on the CL website to its own site where the product is listed for sale. Some products have links to multiple vendors.
